At Indira Gandhi Computer (IGC), we value every student’s trust in our services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding payment, cancellation, and refunds for our courses and services.
1. General Policy
- All fees paid to the institute are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
- Once the admission is confirmed and payment is made, the institute will not entertain requests for refund due to personal reasons, change of mind, relocation, or non-attendance.
2. Admission Cancellation
- If a student wishes to cancel their admission, they must submit a written application to the institute.
- However, no refund will be issued after admission confirmation or once any part of the course has commenced.
- In exceptional cases (such as course cancellation by the institute), management may consider a partial refund at its sole discretion.
3. Course Change or Transfer
- Fees paid for one course cannot be transferred to another course, batch, or student.
- If the management allows a course change under special circumstances, any fee difference must be paid before continuing.
- If the management allows a course change under special circumstances, with in 1 to 7 days only from date of admission.
4. Fees Paid in Installments
- Students paying in installments must continue payments as per the agreed schedule.
- Non-payment of installments may result in suspension of classes, exam restrictions, or cancellation of admission without refund.
5. Payment Errors or Duplicates
- In case of duplicate or excess payment due to technical or clerical error, the student must inform the institute with valid proof within 7 working days.
- After verification, the excess amount (if any) will be adjusted against future fees or refunded through the original mode of payment within 7-15 working days.
6. Course Discontinuation by the Institute
- If any course is cancelled or discontinued by the institute due to administrative reasons, students may receive a full or partial refund, or have the option to transfer the fee to another available course.
- Such refunds will be processed within 7 working days after management approval.
7. Mode of Refund (If Applicable)
- All approved refunds will be made through bank transfer or cheque to the student’s registered account.
- Cash refunds are not permitted.
8. Institute Rights
- The management of Indira Gandhi Computer Institute reserves the right to amend or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
- In all matters of interpretation, the decision of the institute management shall be final and binding.
